nuvi 760 crashes on simulation

i downloaded a TourGuide for huntsville, AL .. when I simulate the route (autoplay Mode) .. the first POI I go to works perfectly, when I then try to "Go!" to another POI (also in the TG) .. the 760 crashes .. the crash report is listed as: Data Abort ... software version 2.60 ... it does not seem to matter how far the next POI is...as soon as I hit Go..the unit crashes.

Any thoughts would be appreciated..

760 crashing

I am seeing something similar. I created a GPX file with a TourGuide MP3 with three locations. One of the locations is home. When the 760 starts up I go to map view and hear the TourGuide file and all is well. But if I select one of the other two locations and click GO to navigate to one the screen goes blank and the 760 crashes.

If I start the 760 and just stay on the "Where To"/"View Map" screen .. I hear the TourGuidefile play and if I select View Map then the 760 crashes without displaying the map.

I thought maybe it might be a memory problem so I removed all my MP3 music files, etc .. no change.

Glad to know its not just me that's seeing this :-)

760 crashing

There is a newer version, 2.70, available for the 760. Don't know if it will help, but best to have the latest.

Same problem with nuvi780
